Kardashian Sisters Closets: Just What You'd Expect

Big on faux fur, bling, and sassy couture, the Kardashian sisters need closet home storage solutions like the rest of us - just bigger.

InStyle magazine shows the current state of the all three sisters' closets. But Kim's closets have been tracked steadily over the years. In 2008, Celebuzz website toured Kim's closet, which at the time leaned toward basic white melamine.

Now Kim's storage solutions are more refined. A velvet-lined jewelry drawer organizer that suits her perference for big and chunky earrings, bracelets and necklaces is done in a walnut finish. An island in Kim's walk-in features drawers "for stowing, tanks, thongs and workout clothes," InStyle helpfully reports. Kim also tells the magazine for overhead lighting, "I wanted a chandelier chandlier that wasn't too girlie." She selected a deco-style fixture to anchor the space..

click image to zoom Kim also advises her fans to use Real Simple Slimline hangars (sold at Bed, Beth & Beyond, $29.99 for a 50-pack) to maximize storage area. The hangars are flocked so clothes don't slip off and they carry notches and insets for dress straps, and to allow hangars to cascade. One caveat: these hangers, made of 55% ABS plastic/30% nylon fiber/15% iron, cannot be used with wet or damp clothing. (Water and iron don't mix well.)

Closets for sisters Khloe and and Kourtney also get star treatment fitting for the Keeping Up with the Kardashians TV show trio. Khloe has lots of white-melamine shelving for shoes, loaded with signature leopard-print heels. Kourtney uses a wooden hand for jewelry storage, and follows Kim's advice hanging denim jeans on Real Simple Slimline hangars.
