Window and Door Company Opens Wal-Mart Design Center

MECHANICSBURG, PA – Home improvement company, West Shore Window & Door, was selected by Wal-Mart to open a home design center in one of its local stores.

As part of a new small business pilot program created by Wal-Mart, West Shore will be able to display its entire product line of windows and doors, siding and garage doors.

"We feel extremely fortunate to have our own full-time home improvement design center within our local Wal-Mart store. We're honored to be one of the few selected for this great opportunity. It's just another way for us to better serve our community," says West Shore Window & Door President and Founder, BJ Werzyn.

The small business pilot program was started by Wal-Mart to support local companies through its new small business initiative.

“In our nearly 4,000 stores across the U.S., Walmart leases space to many businesses. These include local banks, nail salons and restaurants. Therefore we are always testing new programs in an effort to meet our customers’ needs and we continue to evaluate the services available. Our efforts are aimed at providing our customers with the products and services that lead to a positive, one-stop-shopping experience,” said Deisha Galberth Barnett, senior director for Walmart US.

West Shore Window & Door is locally owned and operated with two locations in Mechanicsburg, PA and Frederick, MD.
